Mrs. Corrina Carlisle Poe, age 69, a resident of 365 Portside Drive, Chocowinity, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Poe was born in Durham County on March 6, 1947, daughter of the late Herbert McGhee Carlisle and the late Myrtle Mae Seawell Carlisle. She was a 1965 graduate of Durham High School. On July 8, 1966 she married Thomas W. “Tommy” Poe who survives. She along with her husband was co-owner/operator of Village Pawn of Greenville.

Surviving along with her husband Tommy of the home is a son: Jason Poe of Greenville; a brother: Jack Carlisle and wife Barbara of Dunn and a sister: Jill C. Ball and husband Dave of Hopkins, SC.
