Wildcats Cafe, the Columbia High/Middle School cafeteria, will be open Dec. 27-30 from noon to 1:30 p.m. for students who would like a warm meal, Dr. Will Hoffman, Tyrrell superintendent, announced Dec. 9.

“We appreciate the creativity and dedication of our child nutrition program staff to work during their break to make sure our students have warm meals” over the holidays, Hoffman stated.

The Plymouth Baptist Church provides weekend meals to 40 needy Tyrrell Elementary School students, and a group of local organizations furnishes weekend meals to 28 middle- and high-school students here.
