Nurse practitioner joins Multispecialty Clinic

BELHAVEN — Katlyn Peele, a nurse practitioner, joined Vidant Multispecialty Clinic in Belhaven, located at 598 W. Old County Road, on Dec. 12.

Peele earned a Master of Science degree in nursing and adult gerontology nurse practitioner studies from East Carolina University. Her areas of interest are preventative care services, chronic disease management and patient education.

“As an adult gerontology nurse practitioner, it is my goal to improve access to health care, reducing health care disparities and providing high-quality care to rural communities,” Peele said. “I am committed to helping patients achieve their health care goals, and I am very excited to serve the Belhaven community.”

Peele will be working alongside Drs. Gregory Jones and Mark Beamer, physician assistants Karen Mann and Andrew Cox, as well as family nurse practitioners Laurie Koehler and Lue Sumerlin. Peele is accepting new patients. To make an appointment, call 252-943-0600.
