Purpose of God kicks off ‘Teach.A.Teen’

- SUPPORTING OUR FUTURE: The dinner on Saturday will support the Purpose of God Annex's mission of uplifting Beaufort County's youth, adults and families, as well as hurricane relief efforts at Two Rivers Church in New Bern. (Purpose of God Annex)
The Purpose of God Annex has started a mentoring program for their teen participants. Talia Saunders, a freshman at Washington High School, is a participant of the Purpose of God Annex’s “Teach.A.Teen”/”T.A.T” program . She mentors young students and also helps them with their homework after school. Saunders is pictured with Nehemiah Lewis, as she teaches him how to solve his math problems.
