Alexander Wilson Hollowell

Alexander Wilson Hollowell, 22, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at home surrounded by his family after succumbing to a long illness.
Mr. Hollowell was born July 22, 1994. Prior to moving to Richmond Hill, Ga., he and his family lived in Washington.
Mr. Hollowell was a member of Richmond Hill Boy Scout Troop 400. As a Boy Scout, two of his biggest accomplishments were hiking the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM in 2009 and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in 2011.
After graduating from RH High School in 2012, Mr. Hollowell attended Georgia College and State University and Georgia Southern University where he was pursuing a degree in business. While not in school, he liked being outdoors and helping people. He combined these passions by working at the Philmont Scout Ranch, interning at Disney World in Orlando, FL, and assisting visitors to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
Mr. Hollowell is survived by his parents, Frank W. (Whit) Hollowell and Deborah M. Hollowell, and his sister, Emily R. Hollowell.
The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 11 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service following. Interment will be announced at a later date.
