Mr. Marvin Paul Clark, age 74, formerly of Chocowinity, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Ridgewood Manor in Washington.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2016 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Pastor Claude Wilson. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery in Chocowinity.
The following will serve as pallbearers: David Hartley, Seedie Bradshaw, Randy Ange, Thomas Ange, Ricky Clark and Elmer Ange.
Mr. Clark was born in Beaufort County on November 24, 1942. He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Clark and Margaret Pryor Clark. Mr. Clark worked at several grocery stores in the area, the last being Food Pride in Chocowinity. He was a member of the Chocowinity United Methodist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Clark loved being on the water, driving his boat and going on bus trips.
Mr. Clark is survived by his sister, Freddie Ange and her husband, Billy of Chocowinity; nephew, Brian Ange of Chocowinity; great niece, Kimberly Ange of Chocowinity and faithful cousin, Sandra Ange of Chocowinity.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Clark Harris in 2012 and a nephew, Billy Ange Jr. in 2014.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at the home of his sister, Freddie Ange, 248 Hodges Road, Chocowinity.
