Carson Asby, Simeon Pope and Jacob Smith each advanced past the first round on Thursday, too. Pope defeated Cade McDonald via fall to advance to the semifinal in the 113-pound division. Through the quarterfinals, Washington ranked sixth with 31 points. Carrboro led all teams with 61 points.
