The A to Z Doll Club met Feb. 27 at Pizza Inn in Washington. Those present included Diana Cates, Shirley Woolard, Betty Ross, Donna and Briley Hodges, Marguerite Ferry, Joyce Tucker, Martha Robbins, Gloria Windley, Joyce Carawan, Marti Buchanan, Patricia Harris, Catherine Fulford and Martha Seighman.

Cates opened the meeting and thanked everyone for coming, and Robbins asked the blessing. Seighman reported the death of former Doll Club member Kim Dale following a brief illness.

Seighman read the January minutes, and Woolard gave the treasurer’s report and collected Doll Club dues — $10.
A discussion was held regarding April 8 Doll Show and Sale, and members voted to have Doll Club meetings at the Pizza Inn each month, with a few exceptions.

Ferry announced that their Doll Club Tea Party would be May 20.

March birthdays included Buchanan, March 21, and Robbins, March 22. Each birthday lady was serenaded and received a card.

Door prize winners included Hodges, Cates, Tucker, Fulford, Robbins, Buchanan and Seighman. Show and Tell participants included Briley Hodges, Woolard, Ferry, Cates, Donna Hodges, Ross, Tucker, Harris and Seighman.

The next meeting will be at the Pizza Inn on March 27.
