Obed Brabble called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Members present for meeting were as follows: Buddy and Lynda Harris; Obed Brabble; Ben Davis; Gail Vickers; Harold and Carolyn Tyson; Freeman Weiner; Bryan and Phyllis Weatherington; and guest District Gov. Curtis Rogers.

The song “America” was sung by club members and led by Carolyn Tyson. Buddy Harris gave the invocation.

A meal of fried chicken, potato salad, cole slaw and sweets was enjoyed by all. Goldie Rabon and Freeman Weiner prepared the meal.

Obed Brabble read the minutes. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Buddy Harris. Ben Davis seconded the motion. The motion was carried and minutes were accepted.

All members said the Pledge of Allegiance. The club was dismissed at 8 p.m.
