The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain announced the May Youth of the Month award recipients. Matthew Holdren is an 11^th-grader who attends Washington High School and has been a member of the club since 2015. Matthew helps the younger members and staff daily and is always looking for ways to do more. “No matter what is going on, Matthew never gets flustered and keeps a cool head,” said Darnell Maye, club director of the Belhaven unit. Zorrian Clark is in the fifth grade at Northeast Elementary School and has been a member of the Belhaven unit since 2013. Zorrian enjoys playing basketball, football and laser tag. Math and social studies are his favorite school subjects, and he enjoys coming to the club because he gets to play basketball and air hockey with the other members.
