Beaufort County Girl Scout Troop 802 celebrated Earth Day April 22 in a fun and educational way. The troop attended a class at Kaye Lee’s Corner in Belhaven to learn about rocks and minerals and how these are used in everyday life. Afterward, the girls got to dig deeper into the subject on their own by digging for fossils.
