Rod Cantrell, who has been an Edward Jones financial advisor in Washington since 1984, attended the Edward Jones Managing Partners’ Conference April 19-21 in San Antonio, Texas.

The prestigious annual event honors the top 400 of the firm’s more than 14,000 financial advisors.

The three-day meeting pools Edward Jones’ most successful financial advisors for a discussion with Jim Weddle, Edward Jones’ managing partner, on issues facing the firm and the financial services industry as a whole.

Weddle said, “This meeting allows our most successful financial advisors to network and enables them to learn about trends in the market and industry, and share new ideas on how to better serve clients, who are long-term individual investors. We discuss a multitude of topics, including how to provide an ideal client service experience.”

“It’s rewarding and extremely beneficial to spend time with our firm’s visionaries and colleagues who are so accomplished,” Cantrell said. “I’ve returned energized and with lots of fresh ideas to share with my clients.”

This is the 30th time Cantrell has attended this event.
