Lois Ipock Coffey

Lois Ipock Coffey, age 86, of Lexington, VA, surrounded by family, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born on January 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Hudson Ipock of Washington.
Mrs. Coffey lived in Richmond and Hampton, VA, prior to moving to Lexington, VA. She was a long-time member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis M. Coffey; cousins Patricia I. Respess; Edmund L. Ipock and Elton L. Ipock of Washington; Loretta I. Fertal of Manteo; Jannie Florence Hammer of Homestead, FL; Debbie Winstead Hall of Washington; Eddie Shelton Winstead III, of Sanford; Susan Winstead Dove of Orange, VA; and Betty Jo Ebe of Blounts Creek.
The family received friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017, at the Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home in Buena Vista, VA. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, with Dr. Michael Wilkins officiating. Burial followed at Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista, VA.
