Roy L. Parker of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Washington recently won the firm’s A.F. McKenzie Award for his exceptional achievement in building client relationships.
“It’s truly an honor to receive recognition for building relationships with those clients we serve,” Parker said. “And it’s quite inspirational to receive an award named after a firm legend such as Al McKenzie who was dedicated to individual investors and understood each investor’s unique financial goals.”
Parker was one of 357 of the firm’s more than 15,000 financial advisors to receive the A.F. McKenzie Award.
The award is named for Al McKenzie, who developed the firm’s training program during his nearly 60 years of service with Edward Jones.
Parker also recently received the firm’s Service Award for 20 years of hard work and enthusiasm with Edward Jones.
“I can’t believe it’s been 20 years,” Parker said. “This firm has proved to be everything I expected. It is truly dedicated to individual investors and understanding each investor’s unique financial goals. For that reason, I am proud to represent this firm in Washington.”
Jim Weddle, the firm’s managing partner, said he continues to be impressed with Parker’s record with the firm.
“Roy is diligent and possesses an understanding of the industry that is admirable,” he said. “We look forward to his next service award.”
