Chocowinity’s 12U all stars traveled to an invitational tournament in Williamston to get in some work ahead of next week’s district tournament in Washington. Chocowinity had been enjoying a 6-2 lead until Jamesville knotted things up in the top of the sixth to force extra innings. Trey Cherry drilled a home run in the bottom of the seventh to give Chocowinity the walk-off win. Sean Gerard rolled through six innings on the mound to help lead his team to the win.
