Obed Brabble called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Members present were: Phyllis and Bryan Weatherington; Jeff Edwards; Dan Wallace; Gail Vickers; Obed Brabble; Buddy and Lynda Harris; Harold and Carolyn Tyson; and Carlton and Ruby Manning.

“America” was led by Carolyn Tyson and sung by members. The invocation was by Buddy Harris.

The meal prepared by Bryan and Phyllis Weatherington consisted of fried chicken, corn, green beans, potato salad, rolls, drinks and sweets. August cooks are Carlton and Ruby Manning.

Minutes were read by Brabble from June 11. A motion was made by Buddy Harris and seconded by Carolyn Tyson.

Harold Tyson read the treasurer’s report. Vickers made the motion to adjourn, and Edwards seconded it.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by club members, who were dismissed at 8 p.m.
