The 18th century came to life Saturday in Bath as the Devilmen of Cape Feare announced the death of the notorious Edward Teach — better known as Blackbeard the pirate. They even brought along Blackbeard’s severed head as proof of his slaying.
After the morning re-enactment, visitors were able to browse through exhibits manned by a living history group, as well as check out a memorabilia display with items used in “Blackbeard: Knight of the Black Flag” in the old Bath High School.
