BELHAVEN — Between Water & Main Bed and Breakfast has earned a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, an achievement that recognizes hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least one year. Certificate of Excellence properties “consistently receive strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, vice president of industry marketing.

“The Certificate of Excellence affirms that we have delivered our vision to create an off-the-beaten path respite for travelers,” said Gail Fowler, who owns the bed and breakfast with husband Alan Rogers. “It shows that our guests appreciate the details that make their stay as pleasant, healthy and comfortable as possible.”

Also a recipient of the TripAdvisor GreenLeader Silver Certificate, Between Water & Main participates in community-supported agriculture and grows many flowers and vegetables on site. In addition, the bed and breakfast has adopted environmentally friendly practices to conserve energy and recycle.
