Mervin James Beddard, 85, of Plymouth, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington. A funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Christian Hope Church of Christ with Reggie Braziel officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Christian Hope Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
