Mrs. Linda Ann Heath Taylor, age 69, a resident of 101 Clark Farm Road, Chocowinity, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at River Trace Nursing Center of Washington.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, officiated by Johnny Pressley. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Rowe Sr., David Rowe Jr., Greg Rowe, Mike Rowe, Ricky Clark and Jack Everette.
The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Beaufort County on April 19, 1948, daughter of the late William Earl Heath Sr. and the late Mary Annalene Ensley Heath Lilley. She was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. On September 7, 1968, she married William Lonnie Taylor who survives. Mrs. Taylor worked as an office manager with Muriel Moore Builders of Washington. Her love was her husband, children and grandchildren, whom she adored, and her passion was for crafting.
Surviving along with her husband Lonnie of the home are two daughters: Nicole Taylor Leggett and her significant other Norman Tetterton of Chocowinity and Denise Smith and her husband Blake of Belhaven; two sisters: Lorraine Clark of Chocowinity and Carolyn Rowe of Washington; an ex son-in-law: Benjamin Leggett of Chocowinity; and five grandchildren: Hunter Taylor, Carter Smith, Collin Smith, Cole Smith and Cameron Leggett.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by a brother: William Earl Heath Jr.
