Southside edged Riverside, 4-3, in overtime on Monday to clinch the 1-A Coastal Plains Conference championship. It marked seven-straight wins for the Seahawks, who wrap up the season at home against Northside on Wednesday. Jairo Juarez had two goals in the win. Johnathan Hernandez and Eduardo Gonzalez also scored. Juarez and Serralde each notched an assist, too.
