Albemarle Bank & Trust has hired John Fowle as a new mortgage officer, working in the Greenville, Washington and Beaufort County markets.

Fowle said that as a lifelong resident and mortgage lender in eastern North Carolina for many years, he has enjoyed assisting clients in achieving homeownership.

“It is always a gratifying process to help clients purchase, construct or refinance their first home and subsequent homes,” he said. “I am honored to work with Albemarle Bank & Trust as a local community mortgage lender and will strive to provide competitive products as well as efficient and timely service.”

Albemarle Bank & Trust operates under the West Town Bank & Trust Charter, but incorporates local management with decision-making authority to ensure the community receives the type of customer service that is expected from a community financial institution.
