State football playoff brackets set

Northside and Southside are set for a rematch for the ages.

The NCHSAA revealed the brackets for the state football playoffs on Saturday. The Panthers (9) are set to travel to the Seahawks (8) for the first playoff encounter between the two since the 2004 regional championship.

Washington made the cut after defeating West Craven in its season finale. The Pam Pack (13) will head to South Granville (3).
