Nationally recognized motivational speaker OmegaMan recently came to S.W. Snowden to share his message concerning anti-bullying and to “encourage young people to live a life of excellence and challenge them to be the best that they can be.”
The assembly was geared to the different ages and grades at SWS, K-4 and 5-8. The program, which uses a superhero theme, fit in perfectly with the school’s vision: embracing those qualities that help make each day full of good esteem and character building. Other concepts included “Being a Bystander Versus an Upstander.” “Believing in Yourself” and “Community Involvement.”
