E1 Private Daniel Maultsby shipped out on Oct. 17 to Fort Jackson for 12 weeks of training, followed by 10 weeks of training at Fort Lee. Maultsby plans to return to college after his three years of active duty in the U.S. Army. He plans to use his GI benefits to get a psychology degree. Pictured with him is Sgt. Danielle Williams.
