Mrs. Shirley Lee McCloy Taitt, age 82, a resident of Farmlife and a former resident of Washington, died Friday Nov. 17, 2017, at Vidant Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Second Baptist Church of Washington. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of her daughter Helen Taitt, 1035 Seymour Price Road, Jamesville. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is serving the Taitt family.
