To the Editor:
I am writing this Trump Report Card to share and grade the events of the past week. Here is the week of Dec. 3 in review.

<bulleted list>
Trump eviscerated Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Monuments in Utah by two million acres, the largest rollback of federal land protection in our history, making way for gas and oil extraction, mining and more, despite the pleas of five Indian tribes and the loss of over 100,000 archaeological sites.
President Trump told Israeli and Arab leaders he would recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, and move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, counter to U.S. policy and risking violence and peace progress between Israel and the Palestinians.
The Supreme Court allowed the Muslim Ban to go into full effect against residents of six mostly Muslim countries while it is being litigated. Critics believe that it violates the First Amendment, which prohibits favoring or excluding members of any religion.
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel told the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum that Germany no longer sees the US as a superpower and that they will begin to determine and follow through on their own agenda, regardless of US positions.
House Rep. Mark Takano, a former teacher, represents California’s 41st District. He couldn’t resist marking up the Tax Bill with his red pen, noting the errors and late submission, giving it an F.

Trump held a Hanukkah Party, but OOPS! He neglected to invite any Democratic members of Congress.
CA GOP Senator Kurt Bardella resigned and no longer wants to be associated with the GOP and is switching to the Democratic Party, citing “an unrelenting assault on the Constitution, the free press and freedom of expression while Republican ‘leaders’ do nothing.”
