From Arts of the Pamlico

Start off the new year with great jams to warm your heart and soul! This Saturday, at the beautiful historic Turnage Theatre located in downtown Washington, the Beaufort County Traditional Music Association will jam from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., then Rock the Pamlico will continue the music with a jam from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Come out and enjoy one of our hot beverages and fresh popcorn and listen to some great music in the Turnage Gallery.

Arts of the Pamlico is a state-designated Arts Council and community art space dedicated to bringing diverse artistic projects to eastern North Carolina. AOP provides access to visual arts, theater, music performances, dance and films offered every month. All are invited to join AOP as a member and help with the vision of continued artistic programming being offered to eastern North Carolina.

Next weekend AOP will see the return of its “Art Market”, Guitarfest and Broadway on the Big Screen.

All events will be held at the beautiful historic Turnage Theatre, located at 150 W. Main St. in Washington. For more information on this and other programming visit artsofthepamlico.org.
