Betsy Lorraine Moore, of Wilson, passed peacefully Wednesday evening, Jan. 10, 2018. She was formerly married to Gene Jackson of Pantego.

Betsy is survived by a sister, Jean Sloop-Davis; a daughter, Jennifer Jean Jackson; two nieces, Kelly Sloop and Tracy Sloop; and three nephews, Phillip Sloop, Rodman Moore and Thomas Moore.

In the spring, a celebration of Betsy’s life will be held for family and friends and will be announced at the time.
