Road maintenance scheduled in Tyrrell County

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced its highway maintenance schedule for Tyrrell County for 2018.

  • Preservation work on US 64 West from Scuppernong River to NC 94 North and Travis Road intersection.
  • Resurface Bodwell Road from Newlands Road to Blake Road.
  • Resurface Davenport Road.
  • Preservation work on Newlands Road from NC 94 to Riders Creek Road.
  • Resurface Newlands Road from South Fork Creek Road to 6000 block of Newlands Road.
  • Resurface Road Street from Scuppernong Drive to Riverneck-New Road intersection.
