Doris Gardner Manning, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center with her family at her side. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Williamston Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Tice cemetery in Farm Life. The family will be receiving friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston and other times at the home of Ava Barber.
