Area Rising Freshmen and Their Families Are Encouraged To Attend
The Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Agriscience, a STEM based early college high school in Jamesville, will hold a Prospective Student Information Meeting on Thursday,
February 22 at 7 pm. This session will be held at the Vernon James Center which is located at 207 Research Station Road, Plymouth.
Applications are now being accepted for next year’s freshman class. Current eighth graders from Beaufort, Martin, Pitt, Tyrrell and Washington counties are eligible to apply.
“It is our hope those considering NERSBA as their high school choice will come out and ask any questions they may have,” explained Principal Hal Davis. “Our program has sent numerous students to college that without it, may have not been financially able to attend.”
Partnerships with Martin Community College and the University of Mount Olive bring priceless opportunities to NERSBA students. “We have a wide variety of students in our program. Some
are four-year school bound, others head to work or the military. NERSBA provides a pathway for any student.”
Families from any county within the NERSBA service area of Beaufort, Martin, Pitt, Tyrrell and Washington counties are welcomed to attend.
If you cannot make the meeting, feel free to contact Davis or Sarah Hodges Stalls, Director of Communications at 792-0241 or stop by the school at 1215 Saint Andrews Street, Jamesville.
