From the Wilkinson Center
BELHAVEN — The Wilkinson Center will host its fourth-annual Wine, Dine & Design event Saturday to a sold-out audience. Wine, Dine & Design is a fundraising event for The Wilkinson Center and will be a fun-filled day for women of all ages. The day will begin with a social hour, silent auction and table viewing, followed by a delicious luncheon and wonderful entertainment by a surprise guest.
This SPRING we will drive our CHEVROLET to the BALLGAME and hope it won’t RAIN. We will also visit WILLIAMSBURG go to the MARDI GRAS, shop at TIFFANYS and see the Land of OZ. We hope LIZZY will have LUCK on ST. PATRICK’S day as she drinks TEA and has some CHOCOLATE in the TRANQUILITY of her ATTIC. Our SUPERHEROS will go SAILING as they look for BLACKBEARD and get the COUTURE of the DAISIES of the ABBEY.
The luncheon will be catered and donated by Spoon River Artworks & Market. Owned by Teresa and Mark Van Staalduinen, Spoon River is a farm-to-fork-style restaurant located in Belhaven. Since opening in November 2012, Spoon River has been featured in magazines and on TV. Most recently, the Van Staaldinens were chosen Small Business of the Year from the Washington/Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce.
The Wilkinson Center is a non-profit event venue. Funds raised by Wine, Dine & Design will be used for maintenance and upkeep of the facility. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation, please mail to The Wilkinson Center, PO Box 38, Belhaven NC 27810.
