Mrs. Anita Buck, age 68, a resident of Chocowinity, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in Washington.

Anita was born in Germany on July 9, 1949 to the late Marie Dauphine and Otto Dauphine. On April 20, 1982, she married Walter Buck Jr. after they fell in love abroad. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was always thinking of others, well respected where she worked and in the community. Anita was never shy, she always said exactly what was on her mind. She loved technology and enjoyed games and social media online with friends. She always strived to better herself, and she always persevered. She knew what it was like to have so little, but she gave so much. She was a faithful woman who now rests peacefully in the kingdom of heaven.

Survivors include: husband, Walter Buck Jr.; three children, Jenny Detzel, Joann Buck, Lynn Buck and wife Crystal Buck; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Angelika Elliot; her family at Graceway Pentecostal Holiness Church; and many family and friends.
