Mr. Dakota D. Blount was granted his angels’ wings on March 2, 2018. Dakota, affectionately known as “Dee,” was born Jan. 26, 1988, to Mary and Donnie Gray in Belhaven, North Carolina. His mother relocated Dakota and his siblings to California in September 1990, where he attended schools in the Napa Valley Unified School District.

Dakota was preceded in death by his mom, Mary, and brother Donte. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Alaea Blount, father Donnie Gray, sister Bridgette, brothers Ezekiel and Bryant, niece Ja’lisa and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins

Mr. Blount’s memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018, in the Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
