April Elaine Peed Weaver, age 42, a resident of Wake Forest, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

April was born in Beaufort County on April 9, 1976 to Gary Wayne Peed, Sr. and Lisa Forbes Moore. She attended North Pitt High School. April was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church, Chocowinity.

Survivors include her husband, John “Donald” Weaver, Jr.; her daughter, Mandi Cumbo; two sons, Dillon Weaver and Austin Weaver; her father, Gary Wayne Peed, Sr. and wife Donna, of Chocowinity; her mother, Lisa Forbes Moore, of Pinetown; maternal grandparents, Ola and Gloria Forbes; a brother, Alan Taylor and April Stepps, of Chocowinity; two sisters, Jessica Peed and Larry Quidley, of Chocowinity, and Sara Peed and Matthew Vandiford, of Tarboro; an aunt, Olive Jones and husband Al; an uncle, Jason Forbes; two great-uncles, Bill Forbes and Tom Forbes; one niece and six nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wayne Peed, Jr., and her son, Hunter Weaver.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
