Charles Edward Bowen passed away suddenly May 8, 2018, at the age of 75.

Better known to many as “Fluffy,” he was married to his beloved high school sweetheart, Carol, for 50 years. Charles grew up in Plymouth, served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Weyerhaeuser. He and Carol eventually made Washington their home for more than 25 years. Theirs was a life filled with the joy of the ocean, books, theatre, travel, a passion for historic preservation and family. He leaves behind two sons, Russ and Matt Bowen; two grandsons, Sawyer and Henry and their mother Sandy; and two brothers, Sonny and Mike Bowen. He is predeceased by his wife, Carol Ann Owens Bowen, and his parents, Colon and Evelyn Bowen.
