The rear door at Tyrrell County Public Library was locked recently to enhance security, but after complaints were raised about its proximity to the only handicapped parking space on the property, Librarian Jared Jacavone and the county commissioners on May 21 agreed to Durwood Cooper Jr.’s suggestion that a doorbell be installed to accommodate patrons with limited mobility.
