Mr. George Edward Smith, 73, a resident of Chocowinity, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Washington. The family will receive friends in the church’s Wesley Hall following the service. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is serving the Smith family.
