Kathy Lynn Alligood Hayes, 64, of Patrick Springs, VA died on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 6, 1953 in Washington, NC to the late Ethel Woolard Alligood and Milton Alligood.

She worked as a teacher assistant and was a member of Stella Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Hayes of the home, three daughters; Rachel Hayes of Stuart, VA, Anna Hayes Smallwood and husband Wesley, of Louisa, VA, Sarah Hayes of Patrick Springs, two adopted sons; Eric Pruitt and Blake Pruitt of Concord, NC, two brothers; Harold Alligood of Washington, NC, Phillip Alligood of Elizabeth City, NC and one grand-child; Evelyn Hayes-Linton of Patrick Springs, VA; two nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday June 16 2018 at Stella Christian Church with Minister David Cuthbertson and Dr. Johnny Presley officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday June 15, 2018 at Stella Christian Church.
