Betty Lou Everton Brickhouse, 88, of Columbia, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Sound Side Free Baptist Church, Columbia, with Reverend Royce Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Sound Side Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
