SCOUTS AT WORK: As a way of giving back to First Christian Church for hosting the meetings of Boy Scout Troop 21, local Eagle Scout candidate Tim Anglim chose to make improvements to property where the original First Christian Church once stood. Aided by friends, family, fellow scouts, soccer teammates and National Honor Society members, and using supplies donated by Lowes Home Improvement, the group worked throughout the day on Friday, painting the picket fence surrounding the church’s community garden plot.
