Margaret Ann Paul Baker

Mrs. Margaret Ann Paul Baker, age 76, a resident of Elizabeth City, and a former resident of Belhaven, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at her home.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Sidney Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 5580 Sidney Road, Belhaven. The service will be officiated by Pastor Leonard Bowers.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Margaret was born in Beaufort County on July 29, 1941, daughter of the late Walton Earl Paul, Sr. and the late Margaret Olivia Linton Paul. She was a graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School. On July 14, 1980, she married Warren C. Baker who survives. Mrs. Baker loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed worshipping him at South Mills Church of Christ.
Surviving along with her husband, Warren, of the home, are her children, Donna Credle, Janice Swanson and Stephen Foster, all of Belhaven, Jamason “Jamie” Foster, of Washington, and Paul Baker, of Charlotte; a brother, Harold Paul, of Belhaven; a sister, Kay Jennette, of Scranton; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baker was predeceased along with her parents by a daughter, Pamela “Pam” Roberts.
Flowers are welcome and appreciated, and the family asks for any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
