With school beginning for Beaufort County Schools students on Aug. 27, the time is nearly here for students and parents to prepare for the impending return to the classroom.

As a means of reacclimating students to school and introducing them to their new teachers for the coming year, each school in the county will host an open house between Aug. 21 and Aug. 23. The schedules for these open house events are as follows:

AUG. 21

P.S JONES MIDDLE SCHOOL

Seventh grade — 8:30 a.m.

Eighth grade — 1 p.m.

AUG. 22

EASTERN ELEMENTARY

All grades — 4 to 7 p.m.

CHOCOWINITY MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sixth through eighth grade — 5:30 to 7 p.m. (Floating)

CHOCOWINITY PRIMARY

Pre-K through Second grade — 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Third and fourth grade — 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

AUG. 23

BATH ELEMENTARY

All grades — 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

BEAUFORT COUNTY ED TECH

All grades — 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

CHOCOWINITY MIDDLE SCHOOL

Fifth grade — 5:30 to 7 p.m. (Non-floating)

JOHN COTTON TAYLOE

All grades — noon to 1 p.m. or 5 to 6:30 p.m.

JOHN SMALL ELEMENTARY

Fourth grade — 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Fifth grade — 4:30 to 6 p.m. (Floating)

NORTHEAST ELEMENTARY

All grades — 3 to 6 p.m.

NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL

Freshman orientation — 9 a.m.

10^th to 12^th grade — 5:30 to 7 p.m.
