CELEBRATING CHRIST: St. John Church of Christ hosted its annual Vacation Bible School in Washington from July 9 through July 12. The theme of “Jesus: Yesterday, Today, and Forever” was prevalent throughout the event and supplemented by various information sessions on the history of Washington, a teen summit and arts and crafts activities. Highlights of the event included various guest speakers from area churches, community leaders, Beaufort County law enforcement, and a keynote address from the Honorable Regina Parker, Chief District Court Judge.
