Prison inmate drug arrests averaging three per month

The Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Millard Sailor, 29, of Jacksonville, an inmate at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm, on two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance on prison premises (K-2 and suboxone), Sheriff Darryl Liverman reported August 7.

“This is the 45th inmate that has been arrested at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm for possession of controlled substance on prison premises since May 2017,” the sheriff said.
