Alberta Young Norfleet

Mrs. Alberta Young Norfleet, age 72, a resident of Belhaven, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born to the late Ethel Alboth Young Lazarro and Frederick Young in Boston, Massachusetts, Alberta was a member of the First Assembly of God in Belhaven and a homemaker. Alberta was a faithful wife to her surviving husband, Henry Norfleet. Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca N. Dezern and Lisa Boudreau; three sons, Henry E. Norfleet, Jr., Timothy M. Norfleet and Raymond Boudreau. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sisters, Louise Wachosky and Linda Reardon; and a brother, Raymond Autilio. Alberta also loved knitting scarves for the homeless and reading her Bible whenever she had a minute. She was a great wife, mother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 pm, Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at the First Assembly of God Church, Belhaven, 765 U.S. Highway 264 bypass, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington.
