“Okay, folks, the 14th annual J.R. Simmons Memorial 4-Wheelin’ Rally is on September 29, so get those machines ready for some fun!” Joie Spencer, Tyrrell County fire marshal, announced this week.

“Come feeling clean and leave feeling dirty,” is his summary of one of the most exhilirating events in Tyrrell County.
