The county commissioners in August appointed George Haislip and Tobi Kirkman to four-year terms on the Tyrrell County Library Board of Trustees.

They join Rob McClees and Thomas Sears, who were appointed in 2015, and Nina Griswell, whose term began in 2017.

Library board membership is limited to two four-year terms, county librarian Jared Jacavone explained.
