Aurora Fossil Museum ready to weather the storm

FIVE DAYS, NO LIGHTS: For five days, Aurora residents have been without power, as Duke Energy crews work on restoration efforts throughout the state. (Cynthia Crane)

BOARDED UP: Staff at the Aurora Fossil Museum have been busy preparing the facility for Hurricane Florence this week, boarding up windows and placing sandbags in key areas. Museum Director Cynthia Crane shared photos of the results on Wednesday.
